Your leather billfold's lifespan will be heavily impacted by the care you give it. Our Billfolds are robust but we recommend not overstuffing card slots with multiple cards as this can cause the stitching to come away over time. When caring for your card holder, wipe the leather gently with a soft damp cloth, then leave to dry naturally. Apply a small amount of Ettinger Leather Balm once in a while to help protect and nourish the leather so that your item will last for many years. Avoid very wet or humid conditions.

This is entirely dependent on the owner's requirements. You should consider whether you, or they, will use the wallet for everyday use and if so, whether they frequently use cash, need storage for coins or perhaps have an above average number of cards to store. Leather should also be a consideration alongside colour. If you are looking for timeless appeal, a more neutral tone would be suitable eg. Navy, Green, Brown or Black.
