As September approaches, our CEO Robert Ettinger shares three of his favourite pieces for the new working season, timeless companions for everyday work, whether at home, in the office or on the move.
"This Oblong Tray is one of my favourite pieces, either for use on my desk or at home. It folds flat so if you're travelling, you can pack it very easily in your suitcase. Once the poppers are closed, it becomes a useful tray.
I always keep my watches in it at night at they fit perfectly, or in the office, it holds my pens and various desk items. It's really useful and one of our bestselling desktop items."
"The Bosco Laptop Case is a fairly new product for us. It's made of grain pebbled leather, with padding to protect whatever you're carrying inside. On the back, there's a pocket with a magnetic closure, which can hold whatever you need to put in there, a newspaper, pens or pencils.
The strong magnets on the front ensure that nothing can fall out while keeping your laptop safely and securely in place."
3. The St James Lid-Over Attaché Case
"We've been making the St James Lid-Over Attaché Case in our factory for over 90 years. It's made from very thick bridle leather, the same leather used to make saddles and the stitching is done completely by hand using two needles to ensure that the leather is held together strongly and securely.
It's has two solid brass locks which are incredibly strong and can be locked securely. They open to reveal the inside of the case which is lined in suede leather.
It's probably my favourite piece. Whenever I travel abroad, this comes with me and it really turns heads. People look at it and appreciate the quality and work that goes into making it."
